IRSC to host CyberPatriot Advanced CyberCamp
IRSC’s Advanced Technology department is proud to announce that we will be hosting the 2022 CyberPatriot Advanced CyberCamp this summer. The advanced camp runs from July 30th to August 3rd, and will offer instruction on advanced InfoSec topics. Campers will learn how to audit and secure the latest operating systems, become skilled with Cisco equipment and technologies through NetAcad, and display their new found knowledge in a team-based competition to cap off the event.The camp will follow the below schedule:

- Monday – Cyber Ethics Module, Windows Module
- Tuesday – Windows Module, Ubtunu
- Wednesday – Ubuntu Module
- Thursday – Cisco Networking Modules 1-3
- Friday – Mini-CyberPatriot Competition. Students will compete against their fellow campers on Windows and Ubuntu advanced Competition images.
The camp’s curriculum will be as follows:
- Windows Module (Windows Graphical Utilities, Windows Command Line, optional Sysinternals Suite)
- Ubuntu Module (Init Systems, Advanced Command Line, Processes and Scheduled Tasks, optional Security Policies and PAM, optional Networking)
- Cisco NetAcad Networking Modules 1-3
While this year’s camp is already at capacity, IRSC students and the general public are invited to attend the award ceremony on Friday, August 5th in room v110 on the main campus.
